I was logged off when I came back to my desk. What happened?
Our system uses a session manager. It is set to 60 minutes. If your session is inactive for 60 minutes, you will be logged off automatically. This is done to manage system resources and Internet bandwidth. You are still on the system with the more restrictive status of Guest. Your use of Menus and Forms will be more limited.
There is nothing wrong with your computer or your Internet connection. Just log back in. If you were working on an article that you did not save your changes may have been lost.
Its a good practice to select and copy your article content to a scratchpad file on your desktop when you are working on a long submission. Use your mouse and the right click (context menu) periodically to save interim results. You can use any desktop editor that supports the types of information you are adding, word or wordpad for example.
To recover your article just use the paste option on the article editor to reenter your article.
