UNIX users - Listen up! Passport Software Inc. is introducing Passport Business Solutions v12 this month. This is their graphical accounting package that runs on UNIX and Linux as well as Windows. The Thin Client technology brings the user-friendly graphical look to Passport Business Solutions software operating in a UNIX or Linux-based environment
The first modules being released are Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll and Check Reconciliation. Additional modules will be released in the coming months.
As in previous versions, PBS v12 offers strong transactions trails, multi-year General Ledger along with versatile reporting and data import/export options. It allows implementation of all appropriate GAAP standards by way of the procedures and reporting capabilities built into the software.
